Most commonly used bait is worms. Catfish are mostly caught by anglers fishing for bass, sunfish or perch. When caught be sure to not touch the spines on the catfish as they inject poison through their spines. Also, be equipped with pliers, as the hook is commonly swallowed by this species.
Brown Bullhead also can get very large in size and love marshy weedy areas. They can also be caught all year and are almost in every body of water.
